Mal Loye is an explosive right-handed batsmen with first class experience, playing for Lancashire CCC and Northamptonshire CCC.  He is particularly known for his slog sweep against fast bowlers.

In 2006 his abilities were recognised on the international arena when he was selected for England.  Mal was awarded a benefit season in 2008.
